Abstract Fault water inrush accident in coal mine construction is a serious hydrogeological disaster, which seriously endangers the safe operation of underground engineering. In process mining resources Western China, large number accidents have occurred. Based on investigation geological conditions fault Pingdingshan mine, coupling model Darcy laminar flow and Brinkman used to analyze mechanism fault. On this basis, considering higher permeability rate, may not be simulate nonlinear at Two improved models, equation Forchheimer are inrush. two-dimensional finite element method, into zone analyzed.
